SWIM ART

TRIESTE, ITALY. The third day of the European Championships in swimming short course didn´t really yield much in way of pictures.Here is a blurred Brit though,in the butterfly event, photoshopped slightly for an arty effect. JM

Finished. The pictures of the Victoria exhibition are now taken down. It feels a little sad but at the same time a feeling of satisfaction . The exhibition might go to Gothenburg for the Travel Fair called TUR mässan in the beginning of next year.
My questbook got 16 full pages and most comments were overall positive. I would like to thank two fantastic people Leif Sylvén and Joanna Wasilewska for their great help and support. Also Elias and Sara my "neighbours" in the exhibition hall. We had great fun together throughout the weekend and exchanged vows to meet again and continue our cooperation in some way...

Nu är Victoria utställningen nerplockad... känns lite vemodigt men den kanske blir pånyttfödd
vecka 12 på TUR mässan i Göteborg och på en fotomässa i Sundsvall i början på året.
Till sist blev det 16 sidor med kommentarer i Gästboken!!! Övervägande positiva!!!
Jättekul!!! Det har verkligen varit jätteroligt på mässan. Vill tacka Leif Sylvén och Joanna Wasilewska för all hjälp o support!!!

Yes Yes Yes!!! Sunday!! Today was the day to try and see what competitions to enter.
I entered the "Best picture of the DIGITAL WORLD FAIR" competition hosted by Dustin.
Prize is : a flatscreen 32" TV!!!
The image on the left portraying a model getting ready for a photoshoot at the fair is my contribution to the photocontest.....

VICTORIA GUESTBOOK

Very many people and a lot of friends came to see the Crownprincess Victoria exhibition. My daughter valentina, 8, was one of the many that signed the guestbook.

FAIR OPENING AT LAST !!!

Today was the D Day!! At last the exhibition opened at 10 am. It was a bit chaotic since the slideshow that worked so well late last night was totally black on the white painted wall due to
the excessive lighting in the exhibit hall!!
I ran over to some other exhibitors to try and get them to lend me a HD flat screen.
Thank you , thank you to my saviours DIBOSS and Frank Bode for getting me a 32" beautiful screen!!!
A lot of visitors commented en signed my guestbook.
I also saw Sara Alinders great Galapagos exhibition. Beautiful pictures printed on cloth.
New day tomorrow..have to buy more candy hearts and jelly rats!! Three kilos of candy finished in a few hours today!!!


Så var det äntligen dags. Klockan 10 slogs portarna upp på Sollentunamässan. Det blev ett äventyr! Ljuset i lokalen hade skruvats upp och ingenting syntes av bildspelet på väggen som hade varit så fint igår kväll.
Jag sprang bort till en annan utställare som visade mycket snygga platta TV skärmar och tiggde o bad om att få låna en platt skärm om de hade en extra. De förbarmade sig över mig och en timme senare hade jag en 32 tums flat screen HD TV i min monter och bildspelet rullade med sällan skådad briljans.

Många kom, tittade och signerade gästboken som jag lagt fram .Tre kilo gelehjärtan o sega råttor tog slut på några timmar!!! Det var speciellt kul att så många kom fram och pratade kring bilderna frågade och kommenterade. Alla kan relatera och har en egen bild av kronprinsessan! Det var en rolig förstadag. Imorgon börjar det 10...mera godis ska köpas in.
Det är roligt att Thomas ska komma och Jessica också...

PRINCESS VICTORIA OF SWEDEN

Yes, at last.. There she is. Princess Victoria. Today is the opening of the exhibition at the Sollentuna Fair in Stockholm Sweden. The exhibition will hang friday, saturday and sunday and maybe also at a fair in Gothenburg in the spring of 2006.
The exhibition mainly portrays the Swedish Crownprincess Victoria during her travels to Australia, Japan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the spring of 2005.

Äntligen dags för vernissage på Victoria utställningen. Det har varit lite kaos in i det sista speciellt med bildspelet som inte fungerat alls.
Utställningen visar Kronprinsessans resor till Australien, Japan, Bangladesh och Sri Lanka under våren 2005. Fotograferat av Jack Mikrut/ Pressens Bild. Den finns på Sollentunamässan i Stockholm fredag lördag och söndag 18-20

ONE DAY LEFT TO GRAND OPENING

Still hanging in there.... last day...and what a day..
the slideshow still doesn´t really work.
I will have to work all night to get it done.. the quality right now seems very poor.
All the pictures are now hung at the Sollentuna Fair in Stockholm.
Tomorrow at 10 am is the opening..feels a little nervous...but the princess looks fine..and I got mirrored in the glass as I was hanging the large portrait in its place.. looks cool...big thank you to Leif Sylvén and of course Joanna..

VICTORIA EXHIBITION SOON TO OPEN

Two days left...at last all the pictures are finished and ready to hang in Stockholm at Sollentunamässan Digital World Fair opening on friday 18 november 2005. Joanna Wasilewska made some last switches today and we tookm away two pictures one of the princess in Sri Lanka and a portrait if I recall right....any way the slideshow is not finished yet..
hopefully it will be by tomorrow...

KIDS WITH CAMERAS

Zana Briski, booksigning at the Photoplus fair in New York. Earlier in the day she held a seminar about her project "Born into Brothels" that has helped save kids in Cacuttas red light district from an uncertain future in the streets.

Her project touched me deeply and I wish I had the strength and willpower to do something like that.
Now she has started "Kids with Cameras".

"Kids with Cameras is a non-profit organization that teaches the art of photography to marginalized children in communities around the world. We use photography to capture the imaginations of children, to empower them, building confidence, self-esteem and hope."

TENNIS ART

Thai tennis artist Paradorn Srichaphan was down one set against Davide Sanguinetti in the semifinal of the Stockholm Open.
The Thai got his game together, jumped over the players bench, and with an array of precise shots worthy a tennis artist eased past the Italian into the final.
WELL DONE PARADORN.....
The Thai community of Stockholm will all be cheering you on tomorrow!

SU SHI ME ? NO WAY!!!!

Riktiga färskingar fick vi serverade på sushibaren i Wien. Den här på bilden ovan var dock hal som en ål att få upp med pinnar på risbädd...
Nej , vi tog istället och beställde en" sushibåt" för två som visade sig bestå av dryga femtiotalet bitar nigiri , sashimi, och maki, alla utlagda som ett färggrant konstverk på trädäcket till en fiskeskuta....

VITABERGSPARKEN; STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

Some of Scandinavias best breakdancers took to the stage in a wild and spinning show, competing against each other in front ofa fullhouse (read : fullpark). Dancers from Finland, Sweden,Poland, Russia, Estonia and Korea spinned
at the event! All for free courtesy of PARKTEATERN of Sweden.
Maybe there will be an action replay next fall....

Skandinaviens bästa breakare utmanar och inspirerar varandra i ett gigantiskt tvådagarsjam på Parkteaterns scen i Vitabergsparken. Med på scenen fanns även Project Soul som består av de välrenommerade teamen i Korea bl a TIP & Gambler. Breakdance artister från Estland, Finland, Polen, Ryssland, Sverige deltog.

Independence Day

Naples, Florida 4 juli 2005

Tusentals amerikaner intog stranden i Naples för att fira nationaldagen Independence Day. Med självlysande halsband och armband dansade och badade barnen i väntan på att fyrverkerierna skulle lysa upp himmelen.Många firade med picknick och champagne på stranden i den ljumma sommarnatten.
